Some of my favorite resources for co-parents
Bill Eddy
A California mediator educated as a lawyer and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, has authored a number of books based on his work with high conflict families. All of his work is helpful. However, if you must choose only a few of his resources, I recommend you start with these:
"Taking The Power Struggle Out Of Parenting"
Sharon Ellison
Author, communication consultant, parenting expert, educates parents (and others) about better ways to communicate non-defensively. Her work in parenting is especially helpful by diffusing a lot of the conflict that can arise both with your spouse and your children.
Monza Naff
Author of this profound book on the importance of divorce rituals supports our need for rituals to mark our transitions through life’s big changes.
David Magnuson
A client recommended this book. Although she was grateful for my help, she said this book helped her feel more comfortable and informed about the process. It is written by a divorce mediator who went through his own divorce.
